We warn people to watch out for "package deals" on phone systems. Those deals are usually constructed to meet specific price points, or to get rid of slow-moving merchandise. The mix of products is often inappropriate, and the savings are often an illusion.

However, we do think it's useful to suggest a few systems, to give you an idea of what goes into a system and what works together. It's unlikely that you'll pick a system exactly like one of these, because of different needs and budgets, and the many available options.

Other dealers use labels like "gold" or "diamond" or "super-pro" to identify their packages. We prefer dogs. Maybe next year we'll use cats or reptiles.
